Overview

Hope 4 Kidz International is carrying the word of God to people, towns, and communities of the Philippines which have never had a chance to personally know our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Keith and Chona Sharp founded Hope 4 Kidz International in 2007 when they were overwhelmed by the Filipinos’ response to their initial Vacation Bible School outreach ministry. Since then H4Kz grew over three hundred percent as additional communities responded to our Lord Jesus Christ. The growth of H4Kz is partly due to a unique relationship with the public schools, which help H4Kz evangelize there. H4Kz works with teachers, parents, students and unschooled children reaching out and discipling with the good news and teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ. As the good news is received with joy the Spirit brings an unquenchable desire to hearts open to the word of the Lord. H4Kz is committed to the relentless work of carrying the good news to every person, parent and child longing for a relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Where We Serve

We are currently ministering at many locations on Cebu and Mactan islands. H4Kz partners with over a dozen pioneering Filipino pastors helping them and their congregations reach out to disciple and equip the poorest kids in their areas, breaking the cycle of poverty through education while breaking the power of sin through discipleship. The original H4Kz House of Prayer has grown into a church, baptizing over a dozen regular members in 2021. Our Bogo Jail Christian Church plant conducts well-attended Sunday prisoner services plus Bible studies for prisoner’s families. We facilitated creation of the popular, growing, Savings and Credit Ministry for members of The Northern Cebu Pastors Association as most have no bank accounts or access to affordable credit. We provide regular training and seminars for these pastors, our partnering pastors and for the sponsored kids. We also provided emergency Covid relief to the kids, pastors and more during this worst economic downturn since World War II. Our Christmas in July USA rally ships your gifts just in time to highlight the year for over 200 destitute kids celebrating Jesus’ arrival with skits, songs, Bible memorization, preaching contests, games and Christmas dinner plus a gift box for each child, and much more, shown in our Mission videos.
